They listened to the words that Baruch had written on the scroll. They looked at each other in fear. They said to Baruch, ‘We must certainly report this to the king. We must tell him about everything that you have read to us.’
and it cometh to pass, when they hear all the words, they have been afraid one at another, and say unto Baruch, `We do surely declare to the king all these words.'
When they had heard all the words, they turned in fear to one another and said to Baruch, “For sure we will tell all these words to the king.”
Officials (to Baruch): Please sit down and read this scroll to us. Baruch then read the entire scroll to them. When they heard it, they were visibly upset. They began to look around the room at each other, each one afraid but knowing what must happen next. Officials (to Baruch): We must report to the king all we have heard, but first we must ask you some questions.
By the time he finished they were badly frightened. “We must tell the king,” they said.

When the royal officials heard all the messages from the scroll, they were afraid and looked at one another. They said to Baruch, “We must tell King Jehoiakim about these messages on the scroll.”
When the officers heard all the words, they became afraid. And they looked at one another. They said to Baruch, “We must certainly tell the king about these words.”
And then, the moment of their hearing all the words, they turned to one another in alarm and they said to Baruch, “We must certainly report all these words to the king!”
When they heard all these words, they looked at each other in fear and said to Baruch, ‘We must report all these words to the king.’
