If they do this, tell them, 'I was pleading with the king not to send me back to die in the dungeon of Jonathan's house.'"
then you are to say to them, 'I was presenting my petition before the king, not to make me return to the house of Jonathan to die there.'"
then tell them, 'I was pleading with the king not to send me back to Jonathan's house to die there.'"
If this happens, just tell them you begged me not to send you back to Jonathan's dungeon, for fear you would die there."

If that happens, tell them, “I was only begging the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house again because I was afraid of dying there.”
just say that you begged me not to send you back to the dungeon in Jonathan’s house, for you would die there.”
give them this answer, ‘I was simply pleading with the king not to send me back to the house of Jonathan to die there.’ ”

Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, “Don’t let anyone know of this conversation, if you know what’s good for you. If the government officials get wind that I’ve been talking with you, they may come and say, ‘Tell us what went on between you and the king, what you said and what he said. Hold nothing back and we won’t kill you.’ If this happens, tell them, ‘I presented my case to the king so that he wouldn’t send me back to the dungeon of Jonathan to die there.’”
Tell them, ‘I was humbly begging the king not to return me to the house of Jonathan to die there.’”
then you shall say to them, ‘I was presenting my plea to the king not to send me back to the house of Jonathan to die there.’”
Just tell them you were begging me not to send you back to prison to die there.”
(then) thou shalt say to them, Kneelingly I setted forth my prayers before the king, that he should not command me to be led again into the house of Jonathan, and (so) I should die there.
So if they question you, tell them you were begging me not to send you back to the prison at Jonathan's house, because going back there would kill you.”

If they ask you, tell them, ‘I was ·begging [L making my pleas for help/supplications/falling before] the king not to ·send [return] me back to Jonathan’s house to die.’”
Then you will tell them, ‘I was presenting my petition before the king, not to make me return to Jonathan’s house to die there.’”

If they come to you, say to them, ‘I asked the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house to die there.’”
then you will say to them, ‘I presented my supplication before the king, that he would not cause me to return to the house of Jonathan, to die there.’ ”
If they say this to you, tell them, ‘I was begging the king not to send me back to the cell in the dungeon under Jonathan’s house. If I were to go back there, I would die.’”
If they ask you, tell them this: ‘I was begging the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house to die.’”
Then you shall say to them, ‘I was presenting my plea before the king, to not cause me to return to the house of Jonathan to die there.’”
then tell them, “I was pleading with the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house to die there.”’
