et confundetur Moab a Chamos sicut confusa est domus Israhel a Bethel in qua habebat fiduciam
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, As the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chamos, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, in which they trusted.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh as the nation of Israel was ashamed when it trusted Bethel.
Moab will be put to shame because of Chemosh, just as the house of Israel was put to shame because of Bethel that they trusted in.
Moab will be ashamed because of Chemosh just as the house of Israel was ashamed because of Bethel, their confidence.
The people of Moab will be disappointed by their god Chemosh. They will be as disappointed as the people of Israel were when they put their trust in the calf god at Bethel.
"And Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as Israel was ashamed when they trusted in Bethel.
At last Moab will be ashamed of his idol Chemosh, as the people of Israel were ashamed of their gold calf at Bethel.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
Then Moab's people will be ashamed because their god Chemosh has not saved them. They will be like the Israelites who trusted in their idol at Bethel and they became ashamed.
And ashamed hath been Moab because of Chemosh, As the house of Israel have been ashamed Because of Beth-El their confidence.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel that they trusted.
Then Moab will be ashamed of his powerless god, Chemosh, just as the people of Israel were ashamed of Bethel when they trusted in their false gods.
Then at last Moab shall be ashamed of her idol Chemosh, as Israel was of her calf idol at Bethel.
Moab will then be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel in which they placed their trust.
And Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their trust.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
Moab will be put to shame because of Chemosh, just as the house of Israel was put to shame because of Bethel that they trusted in.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh [his god], as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
The people of Israel trusted that god in the town of Bethel, and they were ashamed when there was no help. In the same way Moab will be ashamed of their god Chemosh.
“Moab has always taken it easy— lazy as a dog in the sun, Never had to work for a living, never faced any trouble, Never had to grow up, never once worked up a sweat. But those days are a thing of the past. I’ll put him to work at hard labor. That will wake him up to the world of hard knocks. That will smash his illusions. Moab will be as ashamed of god Chemosh as Israel was ashamed of her Bethel calf-gods, the calf-gods she thought were so great. For how long do you think you’ll be saying, ‘We’re tough. We can beat anyone anywhere’? The destruction of Moab has already begun. Her choice young soldiers are lying dead right now.” The King’s Decree— his full name, God-of-the-Angel-Armies. “Yes. Moab’s doom is on countdown, disaster targeted and launched. Weep for Moab, friends and neighbors, all who know how famous he’s been. Lament, ‘His mighty scepter snapped in two like a toothpick, that magnificent royal staff!’
Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, in which they trusted.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then the Moabites will be disillusioned with their god Chemosh, just as the Israelites were disillusioned with Bethel, a god in whom they trusted.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, in which it had trust. (And Moab shall be shamed by Chemosh, like the house of Israel was shamed by Bethel, in which it had trust.)
Then you will be ashamed, because your god Chemosh cannot save you, just as Bethel could not help the Israelites.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
And Moab will be put to shame on account of Chemosh, just as the people of Israel were put to shame on account of Bethel, in which they trusted.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh [his worthless, disgusting god], as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their [misplaced] confidence.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Chemosh shall disappoint Moab, just as the house of Israel was disappointed by Bethel, in which they trusted.
And Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, just as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
The ·people [L house] of Israel ·trusted [had confidence in] that god in the town of Bethel [1 Kin. 13:26–33; Amos 7:13], and they were ·ashamed [humiliated] when there was no help. In the same way Moab will be ·ashamed of [humiliated by] their god Chemosh.
So Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh just as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then Moab’s people will be ashamed of their god named Chemosh. They will be ashamed just as the people of Israel were when they trusted in their false god at Bethel.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
Mo’av will be disappointed by K’mosh then, just as the house of Isra’el was disappointed by Beit-El, a god in whom they had put their trust.
Then Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
And Moav shall be ashamed of Chemosh, just as Bais Yisroel was ashamed of Beit-El, their confidence.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh as the nation of Israel was ashamed when it trusted Bethel.
Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.
Then the people of Moab will be ashamed of their false god, Chemosh. They will be like the people of Israel who trusted that god in Bethel but were ashamed when he did not help them.
The people of Israel trusted that god in Bethel. They were ashamed when there was no help. In the same way Moab will be ashamed of their god Chemosh.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, just as the house of Israel were ashamed of Bethel, their trust.
Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as Israel was ashamed when they trusted in Bethel.
