I know his insolence, declares the LORD; his boasts are false, his deeds are false.
I know how arrogant they are," declares the LORD, "but it isn't right. They brag and don't do what they say.
I know his outburst. This is the LORD's declaration. It is empty. His boast is empty.
I know his gall," declares the LORD, "and it's futile; the boasting that they do is futile.
I, the LORD, affirm that I know how arrogant they are. But their pride is ill-founded. Their boastings will prove to be false.
"I know his fury," declares the LORD, "But it is futile; His idle boasts have accomplished nothing.
I know her insolence but it is futile," declares the LORD, "and her boasts accomplish nothing.
I know about his insolence," says the LORD, "but his boasts are empty--as empty as his deeds.

I know his wrath, says Yahweh, that it is nothing; his boastings have worked nothing.
The Lord says, ‘I know about Moab's proud thoughts. But their pride is false. Whatever they do, it will be useless.
I -- I have known, an affirmation of Jehovah, His wrath, and [it is] not right, His devices -- not right they have done.
I know his anger,” says the Lord, “but it is of no use. His proud words have done nothing.
I, too, know of the arrogant outbursts, but they are pointless; empty boasts accomplish nothing.

“We’ve all heard of Moab’s pride, that legendary pride, The strutting, bullying, puffed-up pride, the insufferable arrogance. I know”—God’s Decree—“his rooster-crowing pride, the inflated claims, the sheer nothingness of Moab. But I will weep for Moab, yes, I will mourn for the people of Moab. I will even mourn for the people of Kir-heres. I’ll weep for the grapevines of Sibmah and join Jazer in her weeping— Grapevines that once reached the Dead Sea with tendrils as far as Jazer. Your summer fruit and your bursting grapes will be looted by brutal plunderers, Lush Moab stripped of song and laughter. And yes, I’ll shut down the winepresses, stop all the shouts and hurrahs of harvest.

I, the Lord, know of their arrogance. Their boasts amount to nothing, and the things they do will not last.
and the boast thereof, and that the virtue thereof is not nigh, either like it, neither it enforced to do after that that it might. (and his boasting, and that his virtue, if any, is far from apparent, and that he hath not endeavoured to do what he should do.)
But I also know bragging will never save you.

I know how rude they are. But it will not get them anywhere,” announces the Lord. “Their bragging does not accomplish anything.

“I know what meager ground he has for his arrogance,” says Adonai. “His boasting has nothing behind it, and it hasn’t accomplished a thing.”

I know her insolence but it is futile,’ declares the Lord, ‘and her boasts accomplish nothing.
