They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

[To] Zion they ask the way, Thitherward [are] their faces: Come in, and we are joined unto Jehovah, A covenant age-during -- not forgotten.
They will ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an agreement that lasts forever, one that will never be forgotten.’

“In those days, at that time”—God’s Decree— “the people of Israel will come, And the people of Judah with them. Walking and weeping, they’ll seek me, their God. They’ll ask directions to Zion and set their faces toward Zion. They’ll come and hold tight to God, bound in a covenant eternal they’ll never forget.
They will ask the way to Zion and turn toward it, saying, “Come, join yourselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.”

Those people will ask ·how to go [L the way/path] to ·Jerusalem [L Zion; C the location of the Temple] and will start in that direction. They will come and join themselves to the Lord. They will make an ·agreement [covenant; treaty] with him that will last forever, an ·agreement [covenant; treaty] that will never be forgotten [31:31–34].
They will ask about Zion, the way— here are their faces! Come! They will join themselves to Adonai in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.

Those people will ask how to go to Jerusalem. They will start to go in that direction. They will come and join themselves to the Lord. They will make an agreement that will last forever. It will be an agreement that will never be forgotten.
They will ask the way to Zion, turning their faces there. They will come and join themselves to Yahweh by an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.
