The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will attend to all those who are circumcised only in the foreskin:

The Lord says, “The time is coming when I will punish the people of Egypt, Judah, Edom, Ammon, Moab, and the desert people, who have their hair cut short. All these people are circumcised, but have not kept the covenant it symbolizes. None of these people and none of the people of Israel have kept my covenant.”

Lo! days come, saith the Lord, and I shall visit on each man that hath prepuce uncircumcised; (Lo! days come, saith the Lord, and I shall punish each man who hath an uncircumcised prepuce;)

Someday I will punish the nations of Egypt, Edom, Ammon, and Moab, and the tribes of the desert. The men of these nations are circumcised, but they don't worship me. And it's the same with you people of Judah. Your bodies are circumcised, but your hearts are unchanged.
