If he shall overturn all things, or shall press them together, who shall contradict him?
If he pass through, and shut up, and call unto judgment, then who can hinder him?
If he passes through and imprisons and summons the court, who can turn him back?
If God comes along and imprisons [someone] and then calls a court into session, who can stop him?
If He passes by and throws someone in prison or convenes a court, who can stop Him?
"If he bypasses, or imprisons, or convenes a court, who can stop him?
If he comes by and confines you and convenes a court, then who can prevent him?
"If He passes by or shuts up, Or calls an assembly, who can restrain Him?
"If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him?
If God comes and puts a person in prison or calls the court to order, who can stop him?
If he shall cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
If he passes by, or confines, or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?
God may catch you and put you in prison. He may accuse you in a court. Nobody can stop him doing that.
If He pass on, and shut up, and assemble, Who then dost reverse it?
If He passes by, puts a man in prison, or calls him to trial, who can stop Him?
If He passes by, as is His routine, and throws you into prison, and calls you to testify about what you’ve done, who can challenge Him?
If he rushes in and makes an arrest, and calls the court to order, who is going to stop him?
“If while passing by he decides to imprison you or subject you to judgment, who can prevent him?
If He sweeps by or shuts up, Or calls an assembly, who can turn Him around?
If he cuts off, or shuts up, or gathers together, then who can hinder him?
If he passes by and throws someone in prison or convenes a court, who can stop him?
If [God] sweeps in and arrests and calls into judgment, who can hinder Him? [If He is against a man, who shall call Him to account for it?]
“If God comes along and puts you in prison or calls you into court, no one can stop him.
“Do you think you can explain the mystery of God? Do you think you can diagram God Almighty? God is far higher than you can imagine, far deeper than you can comprehend, Stretching farther than earth’s horizons, far wider than the endless ocean. If he happens along, throws you in jail then hauls you into court, can you do anything about it? He sees through vain pretensions, spots evil a long way off— no one pulls the wool over his eyes! Hollow men, hollow women, will wise up about the same time mules learn to talk.
If God comes and arrests someone and puts him on trial, who can overrule him?
If he passes through, and imprisons, and assembles for judgment, who can hinder him?
If God arrests you and brings you to trial, who is there to stop him?
If he destroyeth all things, either driveth them straitly into one, who shall against-say him? (who shall say against him?) Either who may say to him, Why doest thou so?
If God puts you in prison or drags you to court, what can you do?
If he passes through, and imprisons, and calls to judgment, who can hinder him?

If he should seize and imprison or call to judgment, who then could turn him back?
If He passes by or apprehends people, Or calls an assembly, who can restrain Him?
“If God ·comes along [L passes by] and puts you in prison or ·calls you into court [L assembles for judgment], ·no one can stop him [L who can turn him back?].
“If He comes by and imprisons, or convenes a court, who can prevent Him?
If he passes through, and imprisons, and calls to judgment, who can hinder him?
“Suppose God comes along and puts you in prison. Suppose he takes you to court. Then who can oppose him?
If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
If he passes through, puts in prison and assembles [for judgment], who can prevent him?
If he passes through, and imprisons, and assembles for judgement, who can hinder him?
When Eloah passes by and arrests and convenes for judgment, who then can constrain Him?
If God comes along and imprisons someone and then calls a court into session, who can stop him?
“If He passes through, and shuts up, and gathers together for judgment, then who can hinder Him?
“If God decides to arrest you and take you to court, no one could stop him.
“God might come along and put you in prison. If he calls you into court, no one can stop him.
“If he passes through and imprisons someone and summons the assembly, then who can hinder him?
‘If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him?
