For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God’s eyes.’
You say, 'My teaching is morally correct,' and, 'As you can see, I'm innocent.'
You have said, "My teaching is sound, and I am pure in Your sight."
You've said, 'My teaching is flawless; I'm clean in God's sight.'
For you have said, 'My teaching is flawless, and I am pure in your sight.'
"For you have said, 'My teaching is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.'
You say to God, 'My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.'
You claim, 'My beliefs are pure,' and 'I am clean in the sight of God.'
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thy eyes.
For you say, 'My doctrine is pure. I am clean in your eyes.'
You have said, “The things that I teach are true. God knows that I am a good man.”
And thou sayest, `Pure [is] my discourse, And clean I have been in Thine eyes.'
For you say, ‘What I believe is pure. I am without fault in Your eyes.’
You’ve told us, “I have a clear understanding of things, and I am innocent in Your eyes, O Lord.”
You claim you are pure in the eyes of God!
For you said, ‘My judgments are irrefutable and I am blameless in the sight of God.’
You have said, ‘My learning is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.’
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean before thine eyes.
You have said, “My teaching is sound, and I am pure in your sight.”
For you have said, My doctrine [that God afflicts the righteous knowingly] is pure, and I am clean in [God’s] eyes.
You say, ‘My teachings are right, and I am clean in God’s sight.’
Now it was the turn of Zophar from Naamath: “What a flood of words! Shouldn’t we put a stop to it? Should this kind of loose talk be permitted? Job, do you think you can carry on like this and we’ll say nothing? That we’ll let you rail and mock and not step in? You claim, ‘My doctrine is sound and my conduct impeccable.’ How I wish God would give you a piece of his mind, tell you what’s what! I wish he’d show you how wisdom looks from the inside, for true wisdom is mostly ‘inside.’ But you can be sure of this, you haven’t gotten half of what you deserve.
You say, “What I teach is untainted, and I am pure in your eyes.”
For you say, ‘My conduct is pure, and I am clean in God’s sight.’
You claim that what you say is true; you claim you are pure in the sight of God.
For thou saidest, My word is clean, and I am clean in thy sight.
You claim to be innocent and argue that your beliefs are acceptable to God.
For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God’s eyes.’
For you say, ‘My conduct is pure, and I am clean in God’s sight.’
For you say, “My conduct is pure, and I am clean in God’s sight.”
You’ve said, “My teaching is pure, and I’m clean in God’s eyes.”
“For you have said, ‘My teaching (doctrine) [that God knowingly afflicts the righteous] is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.’
For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God's eyes.’
Shall you say: “My teaching is pure, and I am clean in your sight”?
For you have said, ‘My teaching is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.’
You ·say [claim], ‘My teachings are ·right [L pure], and I am clean in ·God’s sight [L your eyes].’
For you have said, ‘My teaching is flawless’ and ‘I am pure in Your eyes!’
For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God’s eyes.’
You say to God, ‘My beliefs are perfect. I’m pure in your sight.’
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
“You claim that your teaching is pure; you tell [God], ‘I am clean in your sight.’
For you say, “My conduct is pure, and I am clean in God’s sight.”
For thou hast said, My lekach (doctrine, teaching, belief) is pure, and I am clean in Thine eyes.
You say, ‘My teaching is morally correct,’ and, ‘As you can see, I’m innocent.’
For you have said, ‘My teaching is pure, And I am clean in your eyes.’
You say to God, ‘My arguments are right, and you can see I am pure.’
You say to God, ‘My teachings are right. And I am clean in God’s sight.’
For you say, ‘My teaching is pure, and I am clean in your sight.’
You say to God, “My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.”
