I am as weak as a leaf that the wind can blow away. But you still want to frighten me. I am as useless as chaff, but you still attack me.
A leaf driven away dost Thou terrify? And the dry stubble dost Thou pursue?
Will You make a wind-blown leaf afraid? Will You go after the dry parts of a grain-field that have no worth?
Would You waste Your energy to terrify a windblown leaf, or chase down the dry chaff as it tumbles in the breeze?
Would you blame a leaf that is blown about by the wind? Will you chase dry, useless straws?

You hobble me so I can’t move about. You watch every move I make, and brand me as a dangerous character.
Will you toss me around like a wind-blown leaf? Will you chase me away like dry chaff?

Are you trying to frighten me? I'm nothing but a leaf; you are attacking a piece of dry straw.
Thou showest thy might against a leaf, that is ravished away with the wind; and thou pursuest dry stubble.
