You ask, 'What does God know? Can he judge [anything] from behind a dark cloud?
Yet you say: "What does God know? Can He judge through thick darkness?
You've asked, 'What does God know? Can he sort through pitch black darkness?'
But you have said, 'What does God know? Does he judge through such deep darkness?
"You say, 'What does God know? Can He judge through the thick darkness?
Yet you say, 'What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness?
But you reply, 'That's why God can't see what I am doing! How can he judge through the thick darkness?
And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

So you say, “God does not know about us. He cannot judge us, because darkness hides us from him.
And thou hast said, `What -- hath God known? Through thickness doth He judge?
So you say, ‘What does God know? Can He judge through the darkness?
But you—you say, “What does God know? Can He send His judgments through such thick darkness?
But you reply, ‘That is why he can’t see what I am doing! How can he judge through the thick darkness?
Even so, you say, ‘What does God know? How can he possibly judge through such deep darkness?
You say, ‘What does God know? Can He judge through the dense gloom?
And thou shalt say, What does God know? How can he judge through the darkness?
Yet you say, “What does God know? Can he judge through total darkness?
Therefore you say, How and what does God know [about me]? Can He judge through the thick darkness?
But you ask, ‘What does God know? Can he judge us through the dark clouds?
“You agree, don’t you, that God is in charge? He runs the universe—just look at the stars! Yet you dare raise questions: ‘What does God know? From that distance and darkness, how can he judge? He roams the heavens wrapped in clouds, so how can he see us?’
But you say, “What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?
Therefore you say, ‘What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?
And yet you ask, “What does God know? He is hidden by clouds—how can he judge us?”
And yet thou sayest, What soothly knoweth God? and, He deemeth as by darkness. (And yet thou sayest, Truly what knoweth God? and, Can he judge through all that darkness?)
Do you think the deep darkness hides you from God?
Therefore you say, ‘What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?

You say: “What does God know? Can he judge through thick clouds?

And thou sayest, How doth El know? Can He judge through the thick cloud?
You ask, ‘What does El know? Can he judge anything from behind a dark cloud?
And you say, ‘What does God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud?
But you might say, ‘What does God know? Can he see through the dark clouds to judge us?
But you say, ‘God knows nothing. He cannot judge us through the dark clouds.
And you ask, ‘What does God know? Can he judge through deep gloom?
Yet you say, “What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness?
