‘Do not think that you have helped me, a weak and helpless man. Nothing that you have said makes me feel stronger.

Job (sarcastically): What a great help you are to the powerless! How you have held up the arm that is feeble and weak!
“What wonderful helpers you all are! And how you have encouraged me in my great need!
“What a help you are to the helpless, and what strength you are to the weak!
“What a help you are to the one without power! How you have saved the arm without strength!
How hast thou helped the one who has no power? Hast thou saved with thy arm the one who has no strength?
How you have helped the powerless and delivered the arm that is weak!
How you have helped him who is without power! How you have sustained the arm that is without strength!
“You are no help to the helpless! You have not aided the weak!
Job answered: “Well, you’ve certainly been a great help to a helpless man! You came to the rescue just in the nick of time! What wonderful advice you’ve given to a mixed-up man! What amazing insights you’ve provided! Where in the world did you learn all this? How did you become so inspired?
How marvelously you have helped the helpless! How wonderfully you have saved the arm that has no strength!
“How you have helped one who has no power! How you have assisted the arm that has no strength!
What a big help you are to me— poor, weak man that I am!
Whose helper art thou? whether of the feeble, and sustainest the arm of him, which is not strong? (Whose helper art thou? of the feeble? and sustainest thou the arm of him, who is not strong?)
You have really been helpful to someone weak and weary.

“Bildad, you haven’t helped people who aren’t strong! You haven’t saved people who are weak!
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
“What great help you bring to the powerless! what deliverance to the arm without strength!

How hast thou helped him that is without ko’ach? How savest thou the zero’a that hath no oz (strength)?
“You have helped the person who has no power and saved the arm that isn’t strong.

“Bildad, what a great help you are to this tired, weary man! You have really supported me!
“You are no help to a person who has no strength! You have given no help to one whose arm is weak!
“How you have helped one who has no power! How you have assisted the arm that has no strength!
