If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him;
If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, and exulted when evil befell him;
If I have been glad at the downfall of him that hated me, and have rejoiced that evil had found him.
If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him;
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of him who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook him
"If I enjoyed the ruin of my enemy or celebrated when harm came to him
Have I rejoiced over my enemy's distress, or become excited when trouble came his way?
"Have I rejoiced in the destruction of those who hate me, or have I been happy that evil caught up with him?
If I have rejoiced over the misfortune of my enemy or exulted because calamity found him--
"Have I rejoiced at the extinction of my enemy, Or exulted when evil befell him?
"If I have rejoiced at my enemy's misfortune or gloated over the trouble that came to him--
"Have I ever rejoiced when disaster struck my enemies, or become excited when harm came their way?
If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or have lifted up myself when evil found him:
"If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him;
I do not laugh at my enemies when they suffer. If my enemy has troubles, it does not make me happy.
If I rejoice at the ruin of my hater, And stirred up myself when evil found him,
“Have I been glad when a person who hated me was destroyed? Have I been filled with joy when trouble came to him?
Have I gloated at my enemy’s downfall or been excited when he encountered evil?
“If I have rejoiced at harm to an enemy—
“Have I ever rejoiced at the ruin of my enemy or exulted when evil overtook him—
“If I have been glad at the upheaval of the one who hated me, Or exulted when evil found him—
If I rejoiced at the destruction of the one that hated me or lifted up myself when evil found him;
Have I rejoiced over my enemy’s distress, or become excited when trouble came his way?
If I rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me or lifted myself up [in malicious triumph] when evil overtook him—
“I have not been happy when my enemies fell or laughed when they had trouble.
“Did I ever gloat over my enemy’s ruin? Or get excited over my rival’s bad luck? No, I never said a word of detraction, never cursed them, even under my breath.
If I rejoiced at the misfortune of someone who hates me, or I was thrilled because trouble caught up with him—
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of those who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook them—
I have never been glad when my enemies suffered, or pleased when they met with disaster;
if I had joy at the falling of him, that hated me, and if I joyed fully, that evil had found him; (and if I had great joy at the falling of him who hated me, and if I had rejoiced, that evil had finally found him;)
I have never laughed when my enemies were struck by disaster.
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of him that hated me, or exulted when evil overtook him
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of those who hated me or exulted when evil overtook them—
‘If I have rejoiced at the ruin of those who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook them—
If I have rejoiced over my foes’ ruin or was excited when evil found them,
“Have I rejoiced at the destruction of the enemy [who hated me], Or exulted [in malicious triumph] when evil overtook him?
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of him who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook him
Had I rejoiced at the destruction of my enemy or exulted when evil came upon him,
“Have I rejoiced at the misfortune of my enemy, Or become excited when evil found him?
“I have not been happy ·when my enemies fell [L in the disaster of those who hate me] or ·laughed when they had trouble [L become excited when evil found them out].
“If I rejoiced at my enemy’s misfortune or gloated because calamity found him—
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of him that hated me, or exulted when evil overtook him
“I wasn’t happy when hard times came to my enemies. I didn’t enjoy seeing the trouble they had.
If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:
“Did I rejoice at the destruction of him who hated me? Was I filled with glee when disaster overtook him?
‘If I have rejoiced at the ruin of those who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook them—
If I rejoice at the misfortune of him that hated me, or gloated when rah found him,
“If I enjoyed the ruin of my enemy or celebrated when harm came to him
“If I rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, or lifted up myself when disaster found him
“I have never been happy when my enemies were destroyed. I have never laughed at my enemies when bad things happened to them.
“I have not been happy when my enemy was ruined. I have not laughed when he had trouble.
“If I have rejoiced at the ruin of the one who hated me or have exulted when evil overtook him—
‘If I have rejoiced at my enemy’s misfortune or gloated over the trouble that came to him –
