si fructus eius comedi absque pecunia et animam agricolarum eius adflixi
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
If I have eaten its fruit without payment, or have caused its owners to lose their life:
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
if I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or caused its owners to lose their lives;
if I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life,
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, Or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, and have tormented to death the souls of its owners:
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, and have afflicted the soul of the tillers thereof:
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
if I have eaten its yield without payment and made its owners breathe their last,
If I have eaten its produce without paying for it and made its owners breathe their last,
if I have consumed its produce without payment or shown contempt for its tenants,
If I've consumed its produce without paying for it and snuffed out the life of its owners;
if I have eaten its produce without paying, or caused the death of its owners,
If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives,
if I have devoured its yield without payment or broken the spirit of its tenants,
or if I have stolen its crops or murdered its owners,
If I have eaten the fruits of it without money, or have caused its owners to lose their life:
if I have eaten its fruits without money, or have caused its owners to lose their life,
I have always paid for the food that other people have worked to grow. I have never cheated the farmers so that they suffered.
If its strength I consumed without money, And the life of its possessors, I have caused to breathe out,
if I have eaten its fruit without paying for it, and caused its owners to die,
If I have eaten the fruit of the land without payment to those who tend it or exasperated the lives of its tenants, the farmers, in pursuit of greater harvest, or in poor management of them;
“Or if my land accuses me because I stole the fruit it bears, or if I have murdered its owners to get their land for myself,
if I have eaten its produce without payment and caused the death of its owners,
If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives,
if I ate of its strength without money or have afflicted the soul of its owners;
if I have consumed its produce without payment or shown contempt for its tenants,
If I have eaten its fruits without paying for them or have caused its [rightful] owners to breathe their last,
if I have taken the land’s harvest without paying or have broken the spirit of those who worked the land,
“If the very ground that I farm accuses me, if even the furrows fill with tears from my abuse, If I’ve ever raped the earth for my own profit or dispossessed its rightful owners, Then curse it with thistles instead of wheat, curse it with weeds instead of barley.” The words of Job to his three friends were finished.
if I have consumed its wealth without paying for it, if I have caused the death of its owners,
if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners;
if I have eaten the food that grew there but let the farmers that grew it starve—
if I ate (the) fruits thereof without money, and I tormented the soul of (the) earth-tillers of it;
Nor have I cheated my workers and caused them pain.
if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners;
if I have eaten its yield without payment and caused the death of its owners,
if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners;
if I have eaten its yield without payment and caused its owners grief,
If I have eaten its fruits without paying for them, Or have caused its [rightful] owners to lose their lives,
if I have eaten its yield without payment and made its owners breathe their last,
If I have eaten its strength without payment and grieved the hearts of its tenants;
If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives,
if I have taken the land’s harvest without paying or have broken the spirit of those who ·worked [or own] the land,
if I have eaten its fruits without money, or caused the death of its owners,
if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners;
Suppose I’ve used up its crops without paying for them. Or I’ve broken the spirit of its renters.
If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
if I ate its produce without paying or made its owners despair;
if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners;
If I have eaten the yield thereof without kesef (payment), or have broken the nefesh of the tenants thereof,
If I have eaten its produce without paying for it and made its owners breathe their last,
if I have eaten its fruit without money, or have caused its owners to lose their life;
I always paid the workers for the food I got from the land. I never let any of them starve.
I did not take the land’s harvest without paying. I did not break the spirit of those who took care of the land.
if I have eaten its yield without payment, or I have caused the breath of its owners to die,
if I have devoured its yield without payment or broken the spirit of its tenants,
