ne forte dicatis invenimus sapientiam Deus proiecit eum non homo
Lest you should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusts him down, not man.
Lest you should say, We have found out wisdom: God vanquishes him, not man.
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
Lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom’; God will vanquish him, not man.
lest ye should say, ‘We have found out wisdom. God thrusteth him down, not man.’
Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man:
That ye may not say, We have found out wisdom; God will make him yield, not man.
Lest you should say : We have found wisdom, God hath cast him down, not man.
Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man:
Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a man.’
So don't say, 'We've found wisdom. Let God, not humans, defeat him.'
So do not claim, "We have found wisdom; let God deal with him, not man."
"So that you cannot claim, 'We have found wisdom!' let God do the rebuking, not man;
So do not say, 'We have found wisdom! God will refute him, not man!'
"Do not say, 'We have found wisdom; God will rout him, not man.'
Do not say, 'We have found wisdom; let God, not a man, refute him.'
And don't tell me, 'He is too wise for us. Only God can convince him.'
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
Beware lest you say, 'We have found wisdom, God may refute him, not man;'
So do not say, “We are wise.” Do not say, “God must show Job that he is wrong. People cannot do that.”
Lest ye say, We have found wisdom, God doth thrust him away, not man.
Do not say, ‘We have found wisdom. God will show he is wrong, not man.’
And don’t you dare fall back on the easy reply: “We have found wisdom; let God rebuke him, not just any old human!”
And don’t give me that line about ‘only God can convince the sinner of his sin.’
Therefore, do not say, ‘We have found wisdom; let God confute him, not men!’
Lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God will drive him away, not man.’
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom; it is needful that God thrust him down, and not man.
So do not claim, “We have found wisdom; let God deal with him, not man.”
Beware lest you say, We have found wisdom; God thrusts [Job] down [justly], not man [God alone is dealing with him].
Don’t say, ‘We have found wisdom; only God will show Job to be wrong, not people.’
“I hung on your words while you spoke, listened carefully to your arguments. While you searched for the right words, I was all ears. And now what have you proved? Nothing. Nothing you say has even touched Job. And don’t excuse yourselves by saying, ‘We’ve done our best. Now it’s up to God to talk sense into him.’ Job has yet to contend with me. And rest assured, I won’t be using your arguments!
So do not say, “We have found wisdom, but it is God, not a man, who will have to refute him.”
Yet do not say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a human.’
How can you claim you have discovered wisdom? God must answer Job, for you have failed.
lest peradventure ye say, We have found wisdom; God, and not man, hath cast him away. (lest perhaps ye say, We have found wisdom; but it is God who hath thrown him away, and not man.)
You shouldn't say, “We know what's right! Let God punish him.”
Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man.’
Yet do not say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a human.’
Yet do not say, “We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a human.”
Be careful you don’t say, “We’ve found wisdom; God, not a person, will defeat him.”
“Beware if you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God thrusts Job down [justly], not man [for God alone is dealing with him].’
Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a man.’
So do not say, “We have met wisdom; God can vanquish him but no mortal!”
So do not say, ‘We have found wisdom: God will defeat him, not man.’
Don’t say, ‘We have found wisdom; only God will show Job to be wrong, not people.’
Lest you should say, ‘We have found wisdom; let God refute him, not man!’
Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man.’
Don’t claim, ‘We have enough wisdom to answer Job.’ Let God, not a mere man, prove that he’s wrong.
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
So don’t say, ‘We found the wise course — Let God defeat him, not a human being.’
Yet do not say, “We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a human.”
Yet do not say, We have found chochmah; El may vanquish him, lo ish (not man).
So don’t say, ‘We’ve found wisdom. Let El, not humans, defeat him.’
Lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom’; God will subdue him, not man.
You men cannot say that you have found wisdom. The answer to Job’s arguments must come from God, not people.
Don’t you say, ‘We have found wisdom. Only God will show Job to be wrong, not people.’
So do not say, ‘We have found wisdom; let God refute him, not a man.’
Do not say, “We have found wisdom; let God, not a man, refute him.”
