quoniam igitur expectavi et non sunt locuti steterunt nec responderunt ultra
When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
And I have waited, because they did not speak, Because they stood still and answered no more.
When I had waited (for they spoke not, but stood still and answered no more),
And shall I wait, because they speak not, Because they stand still, and answer no more?
And I waited, for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more; --
Therefore because I have waited, and they have not spoken : they stood, and answered no more :
And shall I wait, because they speak not, because they stand still, and answer no more?
And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
Should I wait because they don't speak, because they stand there and don't have any more answers?
Should I continue to wait now that they are silent, now that they stand there and no longer answer?
Shall I continue to wait, since they're no longer talking? After all, they're only standing there; they're no longer responding.
And I have waited. But because they do not speak, because they stand there and answer no more,
"Shall I wait, because they do not speak, Because they stop and no longer answer?
Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand there with no reply?
Should I continue to wait, now that you are silent? Must I also remain silent?
When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
Shall I wait, because they don't speak, because they stand still, and answer no more?
I have waited for them, and now they say nothing. They stand there and they have no more answers.
And I have waited, but they do not speak, For they have stood still, They have not answered any more.)
Should I wait because they do not speak, because they stand there and do not answer?
Should I wait a bit longer to make sure they are all done speaking, for when they stand silent and appear to have nothing to say?
Shall I then continue to wait when you are silent?
Am I then to wait because they do not speak, but simply stand there, stuck for an answer?
Shall I wait, because they do not speak, Because they stand still and no longer answer?
And I waited, (for they did not speak, but stopped, and answered no more);
Should I continue to wait now that they are silent, now that they stand there and no longer answer?
And shall I wait, because they say nothing but stand still and answer no more?
Now they are standing there with no answers for Job. Now that they are quiet, must I wait to speak?
“Do you three have nothing else to say? Of course you don’t! You’re total frauds! Why should I wait any longer, now that you’re stopped dead in your tracks? I’m ready to speak my piece. That’s right! It’s my turn—and it’s about time! I’ve got a lot to say, and I’m bursting to say it. The pressure has built up, like lava beneath the earth. I’m a volcano ready to blow. I have to speak—I have no choice. I have to say what’s on my heart, And I’m going to say it straight— the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I was never any good at bootlicking; my Maker would make short work of me if I started in now!”
I have waited patiently, but since they no longer speak, and they just stand there and do not answer anymore,
And am I to wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
Shall I go on waiting when they are silent? They stand there with nothing more to say.
Therefore since I abode, and they spake not, they stood, and answered no more; (And so, since I waited, and now they speak no more, but stand silent, and have no more answers,)
But am I to remain silent, just because you have stopped speaking?
And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
And am I to wait because they do not speak, because they stand there and answer no more?
And am I to wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
I waited, but they didn’t speak, for they stood but answered no more.
“And shall I wait, because they say nothing, But stand still and say no more?
And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
Must I wait? Now that they speak no more, and have ceased to make reply,
Should I wait, because they are not speaking, Because they have stopped and no longer answer?
Now they are standing there with no answers for Job. ·Now that they are quiet [L If they don’t speak], must I wait to speak?
Must I wait, since they no longer speak since they stand there with no reply?
And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
Do I have to keep on waiting, now that they are silent? They are just standing there with nothing to say.
When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
But must I wait just because they don’t speak, just because they stand there, stuck for an answer?
And am I to wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?
When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no od [more]);
Should I wait because they don’t speak, because they stand there and don’t have any more answers?
And I have waited, (for they did not speak, but stood still and answered no more).
I waited for them to answer you. But now they are quiet. They stand there with nothing more to say.
Now they are standing there with no answer for Job. Now that they are quiet, must I wait to speak?
And I have waited because they do not speak, because they stand there and no longer answer.
Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand there with no reply?
