quia ergo ego locutus sum ad Deum te quoque non prohibeo
Surely it is meet to be said to God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
Surely it is fitting to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have borne chastening; I will offend no more;
“Surely it is meet to be said unto God, ‘I have borne chastisement; I will not offend any more.
For hath any said unto God, I have borne chastisement , I will not offend any more :
For hath he said unto God, I bear chastisement, I will not offend;
Seeing then I have spoken of God, I will not hinder thee in thy turn.
For hath any said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have borne punishment; I will not offend any more;
"But suppose such a person says to God, 'I am guilty, I will stop my immoral behavior.
Suppose someone says to God, "I have endured my punishment; I will no longer act wickedly.
"Has anyone ever really told God, 'I've endured, and I won't act corruptly anymore.
"Has anyone said to God, 'I have endured chastisement, but I will not act wrongly any more.
"For has anyone said to God, 'I have borne chastisement; I will not offend anymore;
"Suppose someone says to God, 'I am guilty but will offend no more.
"Why don't people say to God, 'I have sinned, but I will sin no more'?
Surely it is meet to be said to God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
"For has any said to God, 'I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.
Someone could say to God, “I am guilty, and I have received my punishment. But I will not do any more wrong things.
For unto God hath any said: `I have taken away, I do not corruptly,
“For has any one said to God, ‘I have suffered punishment, and will not cause any more trouble?
Has anyone then said to God, “I have carried punishment, but I will not offend again.
“Why don’t people exclaim to their God, ‘We have sinned, but we will stop,’
“Suppose someone were to say to God, ‘I was wrong, but I will not offend anymore;
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have borne chastisement; I will not work destructively anymore;
For it is of God to say, I have forgiven, I will no longer destroy.
Suppose someone says to God, “I have endured my punishment; I will no longer act wickedly.
For has anyone said to God, I have borne my chastisement; I will not offend any more;
“But suppose someone says to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not sin anymore.
“So why don’t you simply confess to God? Say, ‘I sinned, but I’ll sin no more. Teach me to see what I still don’t see. Whatever evil I’ve done, I’ll do it no more.’ Just because you refuse to live on God’s terms, do you think he should start living on yours? You choose. I can’t do it for you. Tell me what you decide.
What if someone says to God, “I have accepted my punishment. I will not keep sinning.
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have endured punishment; I will not offend any more;
Job, have you confessed your sins to God and promised not to sin again?
Therefore for I have spoken to God, I shall not forbid thee to speak. (And so now I have spoken for God, and remember, I did not forbid thee to speak for him.)
Job, you should tell God that you are guilty and promise to do better.
“For has any one said to God, ‘I have borne chastisement; I will not offend any more;
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have endured punishment; I will not offend any more;
‘For has anyone said to God, “I have endured punishment; I will not offend any more;
Has Job said to God, “I have borne punishment; I won’t sin again?
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have endured my chastisement; I will not offend anymore;
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have borne punishment; I will not offend any more;
Should anyone say to God, “I accept my punishment; I will offend no more;
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have endured punishment; I will not offend anymore;
“But suppose someone says to God, ‘I ·am guilty, but [or have endured punishment, so] I will not sin anymore.
“Suppose someone says to God, ‘I have born chastisement, but I will not act wickedly any more.
“For has any one said to God, ‘I have borne chastisement; I will not offend any more;
“Someone might say to God, ‘I’m guilty of sinning, but I won’t do it anymore.
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
“For has anyone said to God, ‘I have been chastised without having offended;
‘For has anyone said to God, “I have endured punishment; I will not offend any more;
For has anyone said unto El, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more;
“But suppose such a person says to El, ‘I am guilty, I will stop my immoral behavior.
“Should anyone say to God, ‘I have borne chastisement, I will offend no more;
“A person should say to God, ‘I am guilty; I will not sin anymore.
“But suppose such a man says to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not sin anymore.
“Indeed, does anyone say to God, ‘I have endured chastisement; I will not act corruptly again;
‘Suppose someone says to God, “I am guilty but will offend no more.
