Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God’s?
“Do you think this is right? Do you say, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s’?
“Thinkest thou this to be right that thou saidst, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s’?
Thinkest thou this to be thy right, Or'sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than �God's?
Doth thy thought seem right to thee, that thou shouldst say : I am more just than God?
Thinkest thou this to be thy right, or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,
“Do you think this to be just? Do you say, ‘It is my right before God,’
"Do you think this is right when you say, 'My case is more just than God's,'
Do you think it is just when you say, "I am righteous before God"?
"Are you saying that it's just for you to claim, 'I'm more righteous than God?'
"Do you think this to be just: when you say, 'My right before God.'
"Do you think this is according to justice? Do you say, 'My righteousness is more than God's '?
"Do you think this is just? You say, 'I am in the right, not God.'
"Do you think it is right for you to claim, 'I am righteous before God'?
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
"Do you think this to be your right, or do you say, 'My righteousness is more than God's,'
‘The things that you say cannot be true. You say, “I am more right than God is.”
This hast thou reckoned for judgment: Thou hast said -- `My righteousness [is] more than God's?'
“Do you think this is right? Do you say, ‘I am more right than God’?
Elihu: Job, is this your idea of justice, that you would say, “My righteousness exceeds God’s”?
“Do you think it is right for you to claim, ‘I haven’t sinned, but I’m no better off before God than if I had’?
“Do you think that you can defend your uprightness by claiming that you are just before God?
“Do you think this is according to justice? Do you say, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s’?
Dost thou think this to be right, when thou didst say, I am more righteous than God?
Do you think it is just when you say, “I am righteous before God”?
Do you think this is your right, or are you saying, My righteousness is more than God’s,
“Do you think this is fair? You say, ‘God will show that I am right,’
Elihu lit into Job again: “Does this kind of thing make any sense? First you say, ‘I’m perfectly innocent before God.’ And then you say, ‘It doesn’t make a bit of difference whether I’ve sinned or not.’
Do you really think it is right when you say, “My righteousness is greater than God’s”?
“Do you think this to be just? You say, ‘I am in the right before God.’
It is not right, Job, for you to say that you are innocent in God's sight,
Whether thy thought seemeth even, either rightful, to thee, that thou shouldest say, I am right-fuller than God? [I am more rightwise than God?]
Job, are you really innocent in the sight of God?
“Do you think this to be just? Do you say, ‘It is my right before God,’
“Do you think this to be just? You say, ‘I am in the right before God.’
‘Do you think this to be just? You say, “I am in the right before God.”
Do you think it right? You say, “I’m more just than God.”
“Do you think this is according to [your] justice? Do you say, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s’?
“Do you think this to be just? Do you say, ‘It is my right before God’,
Do you think it right to say, “I am in the right, not God”?
“Do you think this is in accordance with justice? Do you say, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s’?
“Do you think this is ·fair [just]? You say, ‘·God will show that I am right [or I am more right than God],’
“Do you think this is just? Do you say, ‘My righteousness is greater than God’s?’
“Do you think this to be just? Do you say, ‘It is my right before God,’
“Job, do you think it’s fair for you to say, ‘I am the one who is right, not God’?
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God’s?
“Are you so convinced you are right, that you say, ‘I am more just than God’?
‘Do you think this to be just? You say, “I am in the right before God.”
Thinkest thou this to be mishpat (right, just), that thou saidst, Tzidki meEl (I am cleared, in the right, justified before G-d)?
“Do you think this is right when you say, ‘My case is more just than El’s,’
“Do you think this is right, that you say, ‘My righteousness is before God’?
“Job, it is not fair for you to say, ‘I am more right than God,’
“Do you think this is fair? You say, ‘God will show that I am right.’
“Do you think this is justice when you say, ‘I am right before God’?
‘Do you think this is just? You say, “I am in the right, not God.”
