"Now think about this: Which innocent person [ever] died [an untimely death]? Find me a decent person who has been destroyed.
Consider: who has perished when he was innocent? Where have the honest been destroyed?
Now please think: Who has ever perished when they're innocent? Where have the upright been destroyed?
Call to mind now: Who, being innocent, ever perished? And where were upright people ever destroyed?

Think about this: People who are not guilty of sin do not suddenly die. God does not destroy people who do good things.
Remember, I pray thee, Who, being innocent, hath perished? And where have the upright been cut off?
“Think now, who without guilt was ever destroyed?
Take pause; scan your memory: Who ever died among the innocent? And when have the righteous ever met with destruction?
Stop and think! Have you ever known a truly good and innocent person who was punished? Experience teaches that it is those who sow sin and trouble who harvest the same.
Can you recall even one innocent person who perished? Where have the upright ever been destroyed?
“Remember now, who ever perished being innocent? Or where were the upright wiped out?
Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the righteous cut off?

Think [earnestly], I beg of you: who, being innocent, ever perished? Or where were those upright and in right standing with God cut off?
“Remember that the innocent will not die; honest people will never be destroyed.
“Think! Has a truly innocent person ever ended up on the scrap heap? Do genuinely upright people ever lose out in the end? It’s my observation that those who plow evil and sow trouble reap evil and trouble. One breath from God and they fall apart, one blast of his anger and there’s nothing left of them. The mighty lion, king of the beasts, roars mightily, but when he’s toothless he’s useless— No teeth, no prey—and the cubs wander off to fend for themselves.
Now remember this: Who has ever perished if he was innocent? Where were the upright ever erased?
“Think now, who that was innocent ever perished? Or where were the upright cut off?
Think back now. Name a single case where someone righteous met with disaster.
I beseech thee, have thou mind, what innocent man perished ever, either when rightful men were done away? (I beseech thee, remember, did an innocent person ever perished, or were the upright ever done away with?)
No truly innocent person has ever died young.
