Foolish people may be angry and jealous. That is what kills them.

Remember, anger kills off the foolish, and jealous indignation closes in on the simple for the kill.
They die in helpless frustration, overcome by their own anger.
Resentment slays the fool, and envy brings death to the simpleton.
For vexation kills the ignorant fool, And jealousy puts to death the simple.
It is certain that wrath kills the foolish man, and envy consumes the covetous one.
For anger kills a fool, and jealousy slays the gullible.
For vexation and rage kill the foolish man; jealousy and indignation slay the simple.
Anger kills the fool, and jealousy slays the stupid.
“Call for help, Job, if you think anyone will answer! To which of the holy angels will you turn? The hot temper of a fool eventually kills him, the jealous anger of an idiot does her in. I’ve seen it myself—seen fools putting down roots, and then, suddenly, their houses are cursed. Their children out in the cold, abused and exploited, with no one to stick up for them. Hungry people off the street plunder their harvests, cleaning them out completely, taking thorns and all, insatiable for everything they have. Don’t blame fate when things go wrong— trouble doesn’t come from nowhere. It’s human! Mortals are born and bred for trouble, as certainly as sparks fly upward.
It’s true, the fool is killed by resentment, and the gullible are put to death by jealousy.
Surely vexation kills the fool, and jealousy slays the simple.
To worry yourself to death with resentment would be a foolish, senseless thing to do.
Wrathfulness slayeth a fond man, and envy slayeth a little child. (Anger killeth the foolish, and envy killeth the childish.)
