nihil in terra sine causa fit et de humo non orietur dolor
Although affliction comes not forth of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
For affliction comes not forth from the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For affliction does not come from the dust, Nor does trouble spring from the ground;
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For affliction cometh not forth from the dust, Neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For evil cometh not forth from the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
Nothing upon earth is done without a voice cause, and sorrow doth not spring out of the ground.
For affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
Certainly, sorrow doesn't come from the soil, and trouble doesn't sprout from the ground.
For distress does not grow out of the soil, and trouble does not sprout from the ground.
For wickedness doesn't crop up from dust, nor does trouble sprout out of the ground;
For evil does not come up from the dust, nor does trouble spring up from the ground,
"For affliction does not come from the dust, Nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
For hardship does not spring from the soil, nor does trouble sprout from the ground.
But evil does not spring from the soil, and trouble does not sprout from the earth.
Although affliction cometh not forth from the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For affliction doesn't come forth from the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
Problems do not grow like plants in our fields. Trouble does not come up from the ground.
For sorrow cometh not forth from the dust, Nor from the ground springeth up misery.
For suffering does not come from the dust. Trouble does not grow out of the ground.
You see, sorrow is not a natural product of the soil, nor is trouble known to sprout up from the earth itself.
Misery comes upon them to punish them for sowing seeds of sin.
For misery does not grow out of the earth, nor does trouble spring from the soil.
For wickedness does not come out from the dust, Nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
For the iniquity does not come forth out of the dust; neither does chastisement spring up out of the ground;
For distress does not grow out of the soil, and trouble does not sprout from the ground.
For affliction comes not forth from the dust, neither does trouble spring forth out of the ground.
Hard times do not come up from the ground, and trouble does not grow from the earth.
“Call for help, Job, if you think anyone will answer! To which of the holy angels will you turn? The hot temper of a fool eventually kills him, the jealous anger of an idiot does her in. I’ve seen it myself—seen fools putting down roots, and then, suddenly, their houses are cursed. Their children out in the cold, abused and exploited, with no one to stick up for them. Hungry people off the street plunder their harvests, cleaning them out completely, taking thorns and all, insatiable for everything they have. Don’t blame fate when things go wrong— trouble doesn’t come from nowhere. It’s human! Mortals are born and bred for trouble, as certainly as sparks fly upward.
Disaster does not just spring up from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the soil.
For misery does not come from the earth, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
Evil does not grow in the soil, nor does trouble grow out of the ground.
Nothing is done in [the] earth without cause, and sorrow shall not go out of the earth, that is, adversity befalleth not to any man without cause. (Nothing is done on the earth without a reason, and trouble groweth not out of the earth, that is, adversity befalleth not to anyone without a reason.)
Our suffering isn't caused by the failure of crops;
For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
For misery does not come from the earth, nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
For misery does not come from the earth, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
Surely trouble doesn’t come from dust, nor does distress sprout from the ground.
“For affliction does not come forth from the dust, Nor does trouble spring forth from the ground.
For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
For not from dust does mischief come, nor from the soil does trouble sprout.
For disaster does not come from the dust, Nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
·Hard times do [Misery does] not come up from the ·ground [dust], and trouble does not ·grow [sprout] from the earth [C they come from anger and jealousy].
For evil does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground.
For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
Hard times don’t just grow out of the soil. Trouble doesn’t jump out of the ground.
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
For misery does not come from the dust or trouble spring from the ground.
For misery does not come from the earth, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
Although affliction springeth not forth of the aphar (dust), neither doth amal (trouble, tzoros) sprout out of the adamah;
Certainly, sorrow doesn’t come from the soil, and trouble doesn’t sprout from the ground.
For affliction does not come out of the dust, nor does trouble sprout up out of the ground;
Bad times don’t come up from the dirt. Trouble does not grow from the ground.
Hard times do not come up from the ground. And trouble does not grow from the earth.
Indeed, mischief does not come from the dust, and trouble does not sprout from the earth.
For hardship does not spring from the soil, nor does trouble sprout from the ground.
