et proiecisti me in profundum in corde maris et flumen circumdedit me omnes gurgites tui et fluctus tui super me transierunt
Then I said, I am cast out of your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.
Then I said, I am cast out of your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’
Then I said, ‘I am cast out of Thy sight; yet I will look again toward Thy holy temple.’
And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes, Yet will I look again toward thy holy temple.
And I said: I am cast away out of the sight of thy eyes: but yet I shall see thy holy temple again.
And I said, am cast out from before thine eyes; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’
"Then I thought, 'I have been banished from your sight. Will I ever see your holy temple again?'
But I said: I have been banished from Your sight, yet I will look once more toward Your holy temple.
So I told myself, 'I have been driven away from you. How will I again gaze on your holy Temple?'
I thought I had been banished from your sight, that I would never again see your holy temple!
"So I said, 'I have been expelled from Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.'
I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'
Then I said, 'O LORD, you have driven me from your presence. Yet I will look once more toward your holy Temple.'
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again towards thy holy temple.
I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'
I said to myself, “You have sent me far away from you. Now I will never see your holy temple again.”
And I -- I said: I have been cast out from before Thine eyes, (Yet I add to look unto Thy holy temple!)
Then I said, ‘I have been sent away from Your eyes. But I will look again toward Your holy house.’
But then I said to You, “I have been driven out from before Your very eyes. Still, I know I will gaze again on Your holy temple.”
Then I said, ‘O Lord, you have rejected me and cast me away. How shall I ever again see your holy Temple?’
For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the sea, and the flood enveloped me; all your waves and your billows swept over me.
So I said, ‘I have been driven away from Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.’
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will see thy holy temple again.
And I said, “I have been banished from your sight, yet I will look once more toward your holy temple.”
Then I said, I have been cast out of Your presence and Your sight; yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.
I said, ‘I was driven out of your presence, but I hope to see your Holy Temple again.’
Then Jonah prayed to his God from the belly of the fish. He prayed: “In trouble, deep trouble, I prayed to God. He answered me. From the belly of the grave I cried, ‘Help!’ You heard my cry. You threw me into ocean’s depths, into a watery grave, With ocean waves, ocean breakers crashing over me. I said, ‘I’ve been thrown away, thrown out, out of your sight. I’ll never again lay eyes on your Holy Temple.’ Ocean gripped me by the throat. The ancient Abyss grabbed me and held tight. My head was all tangled in seaweed at the bottom of the sea where the mountains take root. I was as far down as a body can go, and the gates were slamming shut behind me forever— Yet you pulled me up from that grave alive, O God, my God! When my life was slipping away, I remembered God, And my prayer got through to you, made it all the way to your Holy Temple. Those who worship hollow gods, god-frauds, walk away from their only true love. But I’m worshiping you, God, calling out in thanksgiving! And I’ll do what I promised I’d do! Salvation belongs to God!”
I said, “I have been driven away from your sight. Nevertheless, I will once again look toward your holy temple.”
Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; how shall I look again upon your holy temple?’
I thought I had been banished from your presence and would never see your holy Temple again.
And I said, I am cast away from the sight of thine eyes; nevertheless again I shall see thine holy temple. (And I said, Though I am thrown away from thy sight; nevertheless I shall see thy holy Temple again.)
I thought I was swept away from your sight, never again to see your holy temple.
Then I said, ‘I am cast out from thy presence; how shall I again look upon thy holy temple?’
Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; how shall I look again upon your holy temple?’
Then I said, “I am driven away from your sight; how shall I look again upon your holy temple?”
So I said, ‘I have been driven away from your sight. Will I ever again look on your holy temple?
“Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.’
Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’
You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the sea, and the flood enveloped me; All your breakers and your billows passed over me.
So I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.’
I said, ‘I was ·driven out of your presence [banished from your sight], ·but I hope to see [yet I will look toward] your Holy Temple again.’
For you hurled me from the deep into the heart of the seas, and currents swirled around me. All your waves and your breakers swept over me.”
Then I said, ‘I am cast out from thy presence; how shall I again look upon thy holy temple?’
I said, ‘I have been driven away from you. But I will look again toward your holy temple in Jerusalem.’
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
For you threw me into the deep, into the heart of the seas; and the flood enveloped me; all your surging waves passed over me.
Then I said, “I am driven away from your sight; how shall I look again upon your holy temple?”
Then I said, I am cast out of Thy sight; yet I will look again toward Thy Heikhal Kodesh.
“Then I thought, ‘I have been banished from your sight. Will I ever see your holy temple again?’
Then I said, ‘I am cast away from Your sight; yet I will look again to Your holy temple.’
Then I thought, ‘Now I must go where you cannot see me,’ but I continued looking to your holy Temple for help.
I said, ‘I was driven out of your presence. But I hope to see your Holy Temple again.’
And I said, ‘I am banished from your sight; how will I continue to look on your holy temple?’
I said, “I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again towards your holy temple.”
