More specifically, this boundary began at the south bay of the Dead Sea, ran along the road going south of Mount Akrabbim, on into the wilderness of Zin to Hezron (south of Kadesh-barnea), and then up through Karka and Azmon, until it finally reached the brook of Egypt, and along that to the Mediterranean Sea.
It then passed along to Azmon out to the Wadi of Egypt, the border being on the sea. This shall be your southern boundary.
And it passed on to Azmon and went out to the brook of Egypt, and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your south border.

The southern border ran from the tip of the Salt Sea south of The Tongue; it ran southward from Scorpions Pass, went around Zin and just south of Kadesh Barnea; then it ran past Hezron, ascended to Addar, and curved around to Karka; from there it passed along to Azmon, came out at the Brook of Egypt, ending at the Sea. This is the southern boundary.
Then it crosses over to Azmon and goes out to the Stream of Egypt. The border ends at the Mediterranean Sea. This is your southern border.

(and from there it passeth into Azmon, and cometh to the River of Egypt, that is, the Nile River, or the Shihor; and its end, or its limit, shall be the Mediterranean Sea; this shall be the southern border.)
