Then the Israelites put aside their foreign gods and served the LORD. And he was grieved by their misery.

Then they threw away all the idols of foreign gods that they had been worshipping. They began to worship the Lord again. Finally, the Lord decided to help them, because he saw how upset they were.
And they turn aside the gods of the stranger out of their midst, and serve Jehovah, and His soul is grieved with the misery of Israel.
So they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord. And the Lord cared as He saw the suffering of Israel.
They put away the foreign gods they had worshiped and returned to the Eternal, and He could not bear to witness their suffering any longer.
Then they destroyed their foreign gods and worshiped only the Lord; and he was grieved by their misery.

So they put away the foreign gods from among them and worshiped the Lord; and he could no longer bear to see Israel suffer.
So they got rid of their foreign gods and worshiped the Lord; and he became troubled over Israel's distress.
And they said these things, and casted forth from their coasts all the idols of alien gods, and served the Lord; which had ruth, either compassion, on (all) the wretchednesses of them.
Then the Israelites got rid of the idols of the foreign gods, and they began worshiping only the Lord. Finally, there came a time when the Lord could no longer stand to see them suffer.
So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord; and he became indignant over the misery of Israel.

Then they got rid of the false gods that were among them. They served the Lord. And he couldn’t stand to see Israel suffer anymore.

They got rid of their foreign gods and served Adonai, and he became troubled by Isra’el’s misery.
So they put away the foreign gods from among them and worshipped the Lord; and he could no longer bear to see Israel suffer.
And they put away the elohei hanekhar (strange, foreign g-ds) from among them, and served Hashem; and His nefesh was troubled with the amal Yisroel (misery of Yisroel).
Then they got rid of the foreign gods they had and served Yahweh. So Yahweh could not bear to have Israel suffer any longer.
They removed the foreign gods from among them and worshipped the Lord, and He could no longer endure the suffering of Israel.
Then the Israelites threw away the foreign gods and began to worship the Lord again. So he felt sorry for them when he saw them suffering.
