Also, when the Lord causes them to be in trouble, they should sit alone quietly.

for it causes him to sit apart in silence beneath the Lord’s demands,

When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear. Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.
Let him sit alone and be silent, because the Lord has laid this upon him.
to sit alone in silence when the Lord has imposed it,
When we suffer, we should sit alone in silent patience;
He shall sit alone, and he shall be still; for he raised himself above himself. (He shall sit alone, and he shall be silent/and he shall be patient; and he shall carry it by himself.)
and to sit silently alone, if this is what the Lord intends.
Let him sit alone in silence when he has laid it on him;

He should sit alone and be silent when God lays it on him.
