Your prophets say, "Don't prophesy! Don't prophesy such things! Disgrace will never overtake us."
Quit your preaching," they preach." They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us."
To those who speak out, they will declare, 'Don't prophesy to anyone!' so their shame won't go away.
Don't preach with such impassioned rhetoric,' they say excitedly. 'These prophets should not preach of such things; we will not be overtaken by humiliation.'
Do not speak out,' so they speak out. But if they do not speak out concerning these things, Reproaches will not be turned back.
"Do not prophesy," their prophets say. "Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us."
"Don't say such things," the people respond. "Don't prophesy like that. Such disasters will never come our way!"

The people say to me, ‘Do not prophesy against us! Do not say that we will have trouble. God will not make us ashamed!’
Ye do not prophesy -- they do prophesy, They do not prophesy to these, It doth not remove shame.
“The people say to me, ‘Do not speak about these things, because we will not be put to shame.’
They say, “Don’t rattle on like this,” But those same people preach falsehood themselves: “Calamity is not coming in our direction.”
“Don’t say such things,” the people say. “Don’t harp on things like that. It’s disgraceful, that sort of talk. Such evils surely will not come our way.”
“Do not preach,” they advise; “one should not expound on such matters; disgrace will not overtake us.”
‘Do not speak, dripping out words,’ they say while dripping out words. But if they do not drip out words concerning these things, Dishonor will not be turned back.
Do not prophesy, they say to those that prophesy: Do not prophesy unto them that they are to understand shame.

“Don’t preach,” say the preachers. “Don’t preach such stuff. Nothing bad will happen to us. Talk like this to the family of Jacob? Does God lose his temper? Is this the way he acts? Isn’t he on the side of good people? Doesn’t he help those who help themselves?” * * *

The people preach at me and say, “Don't preach at us. Don't preach about all that. God is not going to disgrace us.
A! thou Israel, speak ye not speaking; it shall not drop (a word) on these men, confusion shall not catch, (O! thou Israel, thou saith to me, Speak ye not! ye shall not drop a word upon us, for shame shall not catch us!)
“Enough of your preaching!” That's what you tell me. “We won't be disgraced, so stop preaching!”

The people say, “Don’t prophesy to us. Don’t say those bad things about us. Nothing bad will happen to us.”
People say, “Don’t prophesy to us! Don’t say those bad things about us! Nothing like that will happen to us!”
“Do not preach!” they are preaching. They should not preach to these; disgrace will not overtake us.
‘Do not prophesy,’ their prophets say. ‘Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us.’
