sin autem statim ut audierit contradixerit pater et vota et iuramenta eius irrita erunt nec obnoxia tenebitur sponsioni eo quod contradixerit pater
And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, with which she bound her soul;
And if she had indeed a husband, when she vowed, or uttered anything out of her lips, with which she bound her soul;
And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
“If indeed she takes a husband, while bound by her vows or by a rash utterance from her lips by which she bound herself,
And if she had a husband, when she vowed or uttered aught out of her lips wherewith she bound her soul,
And if she be married to a husband, while her vows are upon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul,
And if she have a husband, when she hath her vow upon her or ought that hath passed her lips wherewith she hath bound her soul,
If she have a husband, and shall vow any thing, and the word once going out of her mouth shall bind her soul by an oath:
And if she be married to a husband, while her vows are upon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul;
“If she marries a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
"An unmarried woman might make a vow that she will do something or carelessly promise that she won't do something. When she marries,
If a woman marries while her vows or the rash commitment she herself made are binding,
"If she has a husband and she makes a vow that is binding on herself, or if she makes a hasty vow with her mouth that she pledges herself to fulfill,
"And if she marries a husband while under a vow, or she uttered anything impulsively by which she has pledged herself,
"However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself,
"If she marries after she makes a vow or after her lips utter a rash promise by which she obligates herself
"Now suppose a young woman makes a vow or binds herself with an impulsive pledge and later marries.
And if she had a husband when she vowed, or uttered aught from her lips, with which she bound her soul;
"If she is [married] to a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul,
But a young woman like that might make a promise to God and then marry a husband. She might have promised something when she had not thought carefully about it.
`And if she be at all to a husband, and her vows [are] on her, or a wrongful utterance [on] her lips, which she hath bound on her soul,
“If she gets married and has promises to keep because of what she swore without thinking,
If a woman makes such a binding statement in the hearing of her father (if she’s not married) or husband (if she is married), and he keeps quiet, then the promise stands. But if her father or her husband (depending on her marital status) disapproves of what she said, then she’s not bound by whatever she promised, and the Eternal won’t hold it against her. If she gets married after making a vow or pledge (even a rash one) and her husband knows about it but says nothing, then she’s responsible for keeping those promises. But if her husband hears about some rash promise she made and says that he thinks it’s foolish, then he can erase any obligation she had to keep it. The Eternal will forgive her. A woman who’s not connected to any man—a widow or divorcée—must take full responsibility for keeping her promises.
“If she takes a vow or makes a foolish pledge, and later marries,
“If she marries after she has made a vow or a rash statement from her mouth by which she has bound herself
“However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself,
But if she had at all a husband when she vowed or pronounced anything out of her lips, with which she bound her soul,
“If a woman marries while her vows or the rash commitment she herself made are binding,
And if she is married to a husband while her vows are upon her or she has bound herself by a rash utterance
“If a woman makes a pledge or a careless promise and then gets married,
“If she marries after she makes a vow or has made some rash promise or pledge, and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her, then she has to make good on whatever she vowed or pledged. But if her husband intervenes when he hears of it, he cancels the vow or rash promise that binds her. And God will release her.
If she marries a husband while she is obligated by a vow or something she spoke rashly,
If she marries, while obligated by her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
If an unmarried woman makes a vow, whether deliberately or carelessly, or promises to abstain from something, and then marries,
If she hath an husband, and she avoweth anything, and a word going out of her mouth (or with a word going out of her mouth), (at) once bindeth her soul with an oath,
Suppose a woman makes a promise to the Lord and then gets married. If her husband later hears about the promise but says nothing, she must do what she said, whether she meant it or not.
And if she is married to a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
“If she marries, while obligated by her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
If she marries, while obligated by her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
If she marries while her solemn promise is in effect or makes a statement by which she binds herself,
“But if she marries while under her vows or if she has bound herself by a rash statement,
“If she marries a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
But if on the day he learns of it her father opposes her, then any vow or any pledge to which she bound herself becomes invalid; and the Lord will release her from it, since her father opposed her.
“However, if she happens to marry while under her vows or the impulsive statement of her lips by which she has obligated herself,
“If a woman ·makes a pledge [binds herself to an obligation] or speaks a ·careless [rash; thoughtless] ·promise [vow] and then gets married,
“Suppose she should marry, after her vow or a rash promise of her lips by which she obligated herself.
And if she is married to a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
“Suppose she gets married after she makes a special promise. Or she gets married after agreeing to do something without thinking it through.
And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
But if on the day her father hears it, he expresses his disapproval, then none of her vows or obligations she has bound herself to will stand; and Adonai will forgive her, because her father expressed his disapproval.
If she marries, while obligated by her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
And if she had at all an ish, when she made nedarim or utterance of her lips, wherewith she bound her nefesh;
“An unmarried woman might make a vow that she will do something or carelessly promise that she won’t do something. When she marries,
If she had a husband when she vowed, or uttered anything out of her lips with which she bound herself,
“A woman might make a special promise to give something to the Lord and then get married.
“A woman might make a pledge or a careless promise and then get married.
“If she has a husband while bound by her vows or a rash promise of her lips,
‘If she marries after she makes a vow or after her lips utter a rash promise by which she binds herself
