But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance.

"But Jerusalem will become a refuge for those who escape; it will be a holy place. And the people of Israel will come back to reclaim their inheritance.

But on Mount Zion, people will be free. It will be special to me. Jacob's descendants will have the country that belongs to them. I will give it to them.

“But on Mount Zion there will be a way to be set free, and it will be holy. The people of Jacob will own what belongs to them.

But on Mount Zion will be a place of safety. Some will escape to that holy hill, And the people of Jacob will conquer and possess those who conquered and dispossessed them.

“But Jerusalem will become a refuge, a way of escape. Israel will reoccupy the land.

“God’s Judgment Day is near for all the godless nations. As you have done, it will be done to you. What you did will boomerang back and hit your own head. Just as you partied on my holy mountain, all the godless nations will drink God’s wrath. They’ll drink and drink and drink— they’ll drink themselves to death. But not so on Mount Zion—there’s respite there! a safe and holy place! The family of Jacob will take back their possessions from those who took them from them. That’s when the family of Jacob will catch fire, the family of Joseph become fierce flame, while the family of Esau will be straw. Esau will go up in flames, nothing left of Esau but a pile of ashes.” God said it, and it is so. * * *

And salvation shall be in the hill of Zion, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall wield them which wielded them. (And deliverance shall be upon Mount Zion/And those who escape shall be upon Mount Zion, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall rule those who once ruled them.)

The Lord's people who escape will go to Mount Zion, and it will be holy. Then Jacob's descendants will capture the land of those who took their land.
