quod cum vidissem posui in corde meo et exemplo didici disciplinam
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked on it, and received instruction.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction:
Then I saw and considered it well; I looked upon it, and received instruction:
Then I beheld, and considered well; I saw, and received instruction:
And I saw and I set my heart, and I received instruction.
Then I looked, I took it to heart; I saw, I received instruction:
Which when I had seen, I laid it up in my heart, and by the example I received instruction.
Then I beheld, and considered well: I saw, and received instruction.
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
When I observed [this], I took it to heart. I saw it and learned my lesson.
I saw, and took it to heart; I looked, and received instruction:
As I observed, I thought about it; I watched, and learned a lesson:
When I saw this, I gave careful consideration to it; I received instruction from what I saw:
When I saw, I reflected upon it; I looked, and received instruction.
I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:
Then, as I looked and thought about it, I learned this lesson:
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Then I saw, and considered well. I saw, and received instruction:
I looked at this and I thought about it carefully. I learned a lesson from the things that I had seen:
And I see -- I -- I do set my heart, I have seen -- I have received instruction,
When I saw it, I thought about it. I looked and received teaching.
I took a moment to take it all in. The scene taught me:
Then, as I looked, I learned this lesson: “A little extra sleep, A little more slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest”
And as I gazed at it and reflected, I drew this lesson from the sight:
And I beheld, I set my heart upon it; I saw, I received discipline.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it and received chastening.
I saw, and took it to heart; I looked, and received instruction:
Then I beheld and considered it well; I looked and received instruction.
I thought about what I had seen; I learned this lesson from what I saw.
One day I walked by the field of an old lazybones, and then passed the vineyard of a slob; They were overgrown with weeds, thick with thistles, all the fences broken down. I took a long look and pondered what I saw; the fields preached me a sermon and I listened: “A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, with poverty as your permanent houseguest!”
When I saw this, I took it to heart. I observed and learned a lesson:
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
I looked at this, thought about it, and learned a lesson from it:
And when I had seen this thing, I setted (it) in mine heart, and by ensample, I learned (the) teaching. (And when I had seen this, I put it in my heart, and by example, I learned the lesson.)
When I saw this, it taught me a lesson:
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
I observed this and took it to heart; I saw it and learned a lesson.
When I saw, I considered it well; I looked and received instruction.
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
As I gazed at it, I reflected; I saw and learned a lesson:
When I saw, I reflected upon it; I looked, and received instruction.
I ·thought about [took to heart] what I had seen; I learned this lesson from what I saw.
Then I took to heart what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
I applied my heart to what I observed. I learned a lesson from what I saw.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
I looked, and I thought about it; I saw, and I learned this lesson:
Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.
Then I saw, and considered it well in my lev; I looked upon it, and received musar.
When I observed this, I took it to heart. I saw it and learned my lesson.
Then I saw, and considered it; I looked on it and received instruction:
I looked at this and thought about it. This is what I learned:
I thought about what I had seen. I learned this lesson from what I saw.
Then I myself saw and my heart considered; I looked, and I took hold of instruction:
I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:
