in summis excelsisque verticibus super viam in mediis semitis stans
She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet.
She standeth at the top of high places, by the wayside where the paths meet.
On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she standeth;
For on top of the high places is wisdom; between the roads and upon the side of the paths she stands.
On the top of high places by the way, at the cross-paths she taketh her stand.
Standing in the top of the highest places by the way, in the midst of the paths.
In the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she standeth;
On the heights beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand;
[Wisdom] takes its stand on high ground, by the wayside where the roads meet,
At the heights overlooking the road, at the crossroads, she takes her stand.
On top of the highest places along the road she stands where the roads meet.
At the top of the elevated places along the way, at the intersection of the paths she takes her stand;
On top of the heights beside the way, Where the paths meet, she takes her stand;
At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand;
On the hilltop along the road, she takes her stand at the crossroads.
She standeth on the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
She stands where people will hear her, on the hills along the road. She stands where different paths meet.
At the head of high places by the way, Between the paths she hath stood,
She takes her stand on the top of the hill beside the way, where the paths meet.
She’s taken her stand at the highest place in the city, at the crossroads where everyone can see her.
Can’t you hear the voice of wisdom? She is standing at the city gates and at every fork in the road, and at the door of every house. Listen to what she says:
On the heights, by the wayside, at the crossroads—she takes her stand;
At the top of the heights upon the way, Where the pathways meet, she takes her stand;
She stands in the top of high places, by the way at the crossroads of the paths.
At the heights overlooking the road, at the crossroads, she takes her stand.
On the top of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, stands Wisdom [skillful and godly];
On the hilltops along the road and at the crossroads, she stands calling.
Do you hear Lady Wisdom calling? Can you hear Madame Insight raising her voice? She’s taken her stand at First and Main, at the busiest intersection. Right in the city square where the traffic is thickest, she shouts, “You—I’m talking to all of you, everyone out here on the streets! Listen, you idiots—learn good sense! You blockheads—shape up! Don’t miss a word of this—I’m telling you how to live well, I’m telling you how to live at your best. My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth— I can’t stand the taste of evil! You’ll only hear true and right words from my mouth; not one syllable will be twisted or skewed. You’ll recognize this as true—you with open minds; truth-ready minds will see it at once. Prefer my life-disciplines over chasing after money, and God-knowledge over a lucrative career. For Wisdom is better than all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
On the hills above the roads, she takes her stand at the crossroads.
On the heights, beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand;
On the hilltops near the road and at the crossroads she stands.
In most sovereign and high tops, above the way, in the midst of paths, (On hilltops, on the way, in the midst of paths,)
as she stands at the crossroads and on every hill.
On the heights beside the way, in the paths she takes her stand;
On the heights, beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand;
On the heights, beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand;
Atop the heights along the path, at the crossroads she takes her stand.
On the top of the heights beside the way, Where the paths meet, wisdom takes her stand;
On the heights beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand;
On the top of the heights along the road, at the crossroads she takes her stand;

In the top of high hills, beside the derech (road) in the bais netivot (meeting place of trodden paths, crossroads) nitzavah (she [Lady Wisdom, the lady street preacher] stands).
Wisdom takes its stand on high ground, by the wayside where the roads meet,
