Sinful men are not like this. They are like straw blown away by the wind.
For those who focus on sin, the story is different. They are like the fallen husk of wheat, tossed by an open wind, left deserted and alone.
But for sinners, what a different story! They blow away like chaff before the wind.
This is not true of the wicked, for they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
The ungodly are not so but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
The wicked are not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.
But wicked people are not like that. They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
You’re not at all like the wicked, who are mere windblown dust— Without defense in court, unfit company for innocent people.
