Later, they did not believe God's promise to take them safely into the beautiful land of Canaan.
And they kick against the desirable land, They have not given credence to His word.
Then they hated the good land. They did not believe in His Word.
At the edge of the beautiful land God had promised them, they didn’t trust His words, so they refused to enter.
They refused to enter the Promised Land, for they wouldn’t believe his solemn oath to care for them.
Then they derided the land of delights, for they had no faith in his word.
Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe in His word,

They despised the pleasant land and did not believe his promise.
Then they spurned and despised the pleasant and desirable land [Canaan]; they believed not His word [neither trusting in, relying on, nor holding to it];
Then they refused to go into the beautiful land of Canaan; they did not believe what God promised.
Fed up, God decided to get rid of them— and except for Moses, his chosen, he would have. But Moses stood in the gap and deflected God’s anger, prevented it from destroying them utterly. They went on to reject the Blessed Land, didn’t believe a word of what God promised. They found fault with the life they had and turned a deaf ear to God’s voice. Exasperated, God swore that he’d lay them low in the desert, Scattering their children here and there, strewing them all over the earth.
Then they refused the pleasant land. They did not believe his word.
