And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.

“And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
“And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in Thee.
And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.
Therefore, what is my hope, if not you alone, Lord Jehovah?
And now, what wait I for, Lord? my hope is in thee.
And now what is my hope? is it not the Lord? and my substance is with thee.
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.
And now, Lord, what am I waiting for? My hope is in you!
Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
How long, LORD, will I wait expectantly? I have placed my hope in you.
But now, O Lord, upon what am I relying? You are my only hope!
"And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.
"But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.
And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
So, my Lord, what help can I hope to get? You are the only one that I can really trust!
And, now, what have I expected? O Lord, my hope -- it [is] of Thee.
And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
In light of all this, Lord, what am I really waiting for? You are my hope.
And so, Lord, my only hope is in you.
Humans are nothing but a passing shadow; the riches they amass are a mere breath, and they do not know who will enjoy them.
“And now, Lord, what do I hope in? My expectation is in You.
And now, Lord, what shall I wait for? My hope is in thee.
“Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are in You.
“So, Lord, what hope do I have? You are my hope.
“What am I doing in the meantime, Lord? Hoping, that’s what I’m doing—hoping You’ll save me from a rebel life, save me from the contempt of idiots. I’ll say no more, I’ll shut my mouth, since you, Lord, are behind all this. But I can’t take it much longer. When you put us through the fire to purge us from our sin, our dearest idols go up in smoke. Are we also nothing but smoke?
But now what do I wait for, Lord? My hope is in you.
“And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
What, then, can I hope for, Lord? I put my hope in you.
And now which is mine abiding? whether not the Lord? and my substance is at thee. (And now, who do I wait for? is it not for the Lord? yea, for my hope is in thee.)
“What am I waiting for? I depend on you, Lord!
“And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in thee.
“And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
‘And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
So now, Lord, what should I be waiting for? My hope is set on you.
“And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.
“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.
Man goes about as a mere phantom; they hurry about, although in vain; he heaps up stores without knowing for whom.
“And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.
“So, Lord, what ·hope do I have [do I wait for]? You are my hope.
Everyone goes about as a mere phantom. Surely they are making an uproar in vain, heaping up stuff— yet not knowing who will gather it.
“And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in thee.
“Lord, what can I look forward to now? You are the only hope I have.
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
Humans go about like shadows; their turmoil is all for nothing. They accumulate wealth, not knowing who will enjoy its benefits.
‘And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
And now, Adonoi, what do I wait for? My hope is in Thee.
And now, Adonay, what am I waiting for? My hope is in you!
Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
So, Lord, what hope do I have? You are my hope!
“So, Lord, what hope do I have? You are my hope.
And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is for you.
‘But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.
