We didn’t fight for this land; we didn’t work for it—it was a gift! You gave it, smiling as you gave it, delighting as you gave it.
For it was not by their sword that they took possession of the land. It was not their arm that saved them. It was your right hand and your arm, and the light from your face, because you took pleasure in them.

Their strength and weapons were not what won the land and gave them victory! You loved them and fought with your powerful arm and your shining glory.
