non propter victimas tuas arguam te et holocaustomata tua coram me sunt semper
(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases for ever:)
(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases forever:)
(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
(for the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever—
(for the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever),
(For the redemption of their life is costly, And it faileth for ever;)
The salvation of their souls is precious; it labors for eternity,
(For the redemption of their soul is costly, and must be given up for ever,)
Nor the price of the redemption of his soul: and shall labour for ever,
(For the redemption of their soul is costly, and must be let alone for ever:)
for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice,
The price to be paid for his soul is too costly. He must always give up
since the price of redeeming him is too costly, one should forever stop trying--
for it would cost too much to redeem his life, and the payments would go on forever—
(the ransom price for a human life is too high, and people go to their final destiny),
For the redemption of his soul is costly, And he should cease trying forever--
the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough--
Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough
(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
For the redemption of their life is costly, no payment is ever enough,
A human life costs too much to buy it back. Nobody could ever pay enough.
And precious [is] the redemption of their soul, And it hath ceased -- to the age.
The cost is much for his soul to be saved. Man should stop trying
Redeeming a life is costly; no premium is enough, ever enough,
For a soul is far too precious to be ransomed by mere earthly wealth. There is not enough of it in all the earth to buy eternal life for just one soul, to keep it out of hell.
For no one can ever redeem himself or pay a ransom to God for his release.
For the redemption price for their soul is costly, And it ceases forever—
(for the redemption of their soul is of great price, and they shall never pay it)
since the price of redeeming him is too costly, one should forever stop trying—
For the ransom of a life is too costly, and [the price one can pay] can never suffice—
because the price of a life is high. No payment is ever enough.
Really! There’s no such thing as self-rescue, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps. The cost of rescue is beyond our means, and even then it doesn’t guarantee Life forever, or insurance against the Black Hole.
(Yes, the ransom for their souls is costly. Any payment would fall short.)
For the ransom of life is costly, and can never suffice,
because the payment for a human life is too great. What we could pay would never be enough
And he shall not (be able to) give the price of ransom for his soul; and he shall travail into without end, (Yea, he shall never be able to pay the price of ransom for his own soul; even if he could work forever,)
It costs far too much to buy back your life. You can never pay God enough
for the ransom of his life is costly, and can never suffice,
For the ransom of life is costly and can never suffice,
For the ransom of life is costly, and can never suffice,
The price to save someone’s life is too high— wealth will never be enough—
For the ransom of his soul is too costly, And he should cease trying forever—
for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice,
No man can ransom even a brother, or pay to God his own ransom.
For the redemption of his soul is priceless, And he should cease imagining forever—
because the ·price [ransom; redemption] of a life is ·high [precious]. No payment is ever enough.
No man can redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him.
for the ransom of his life is costly, and can never suffice,
The price for a life is very high. No payment is ever enough.
(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
No one can ever redeem his brother or give God a ransom for him ,
For the ransom of life is costly, and can never suffice,
For the pidyon [ransom] of their nefesh is costly, and is forever beyond their power to pay—
The price to be paid for his soul is too costly. He must always give up
for the redemption of their souls is costly; even so people cease to exist forever,
You will never get enough money to pay for your own life.
The price of a life is high. No payment is ever enough.
(since the redemption price for their life is costly and it always fails),
the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough –
