tota die sermonibus me adfligebant contra me omnes cogitationes eorum in malum
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

So I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then would I fly away, and be at rest.
But I said, “Who would give me wings like a dove?” I had flown and I would have rested.
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away, and be at rest;
And I said: Who will give me wings like a dove, and I will fly and be at rest?
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! then would I fly away, and be at rest.
And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
I said, "If only I had wings like a dove- I would fly away and find rest.
I said, "If only I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and find rest.
I said, "O, who will give me the wings of a dove, so that I could fly away and live somewhere else?
I say, "I wish I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and settle in a safe place!
I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
Oh, that I had wings like a dove; then I would fly away and rest!
And I said, O that I had wings like a dove! for then I would fly away, and be at rest.
I said, "Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest.
So I say, ‘If I had wings to fly like a dove, I would fly away to a safe place.
And I say, `Who doth give to me a pinion as a dove? I fly away and rest,
And I say, “If only I had wings like a dove, I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, “If only my arms were wings like the dove’s! I would fly away from here and find rest—
Oh, for wings like a dove, to fly away and rest!
Fear and trembling overpower me; horror overwhelms me.
I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, “If only I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and find rest.
And I say, Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, “I wish I had wings like a dove. Then I would fly away and rest.
My insides are turned inside out; specters of death have me down. I shake with fear, I shudder from head to foot. “Who will give me wings,” I ask— “wings like a dove?” Get me out of here on dove wings; I want some peace and quiet. I want a walk in the country, I want a cabin in the woods. I’m desperate for a change from rage and stormy weather.
So I say, “I wish I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and find a place to rest.
And I say, “O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
I wish I had wings like a dove. I would fly away and find rest.
And I said, Who shall give to me feathers, as of a culver; and I shall fly, and shall take rest? (And I said, Who shall give me wings like a dove? and then I can fly away, and get some rest.)
I wish I had wings like a dove, so I could fly far away and be at peace.
And I say, “O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
And I say, “O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
And I say, ‘O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
I say to myself, I wish I had wings like a dove! I’d fly away and rest.
And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
Fear and trembling overwhelm me; shuddering sweeps over me.
I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, “·I wish [O that] I had wings like a dove. Then I would fly away and rest.
Fear and trembling come upon me and horror has overwhelmed me.
And I say, “O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
I said, “I wish I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away and be at rest.
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
fear and trembling overwhelm me, horror covers me.
And I say, ‘O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a yonah! For then would I fly away and be at rest.
I said, “If only I had wings like a dove— I would fly away and find rest.
I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! For then I would fly away and be at rest.
Oh, I wish I had wings like a dove. I would fly away and find a place to rest.
I said, “I wish I had wings like a dove. Then I would fly away and rest.
So I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove. I would fly away and be at rest.
I said, ‘Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
