“Yes,” the Lord replies, “and when I am ready, I will punish the wicked!
We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks to you. For your wondrous deeds declare that your name is near.
“For I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equity.

When the proper time has come [for executing My judgments], I will judge uprightly [says the Lord].
You say, “I set the time for trial, and I will judge fairly.
You say, “I’m calling this meeting to order, I’m ready to set things right. When the earth goes topsy-turvy And nobody knows which end is up, I nail it all down, I put everything in place again. I say to the smart alecks, ‘That’s enough,’ to the bullies, ‘Not so fast.’”
Yes, I choose the appointed time. I am the one who judges rightly.
At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity.
“I have set a time for judgment,” says God, “and I will judge with fairness.
when I shall take (hold of the) time, I shall deem (with) rightfulnesses. (And God said, I shall take hold of the time; and I shall judge with righteousness/and I shall judge with justice.)
