Neither did he show pity toward those six hundred thousand foot soldiers who perished because of their stubborn defiance. [Chastising and sparing, striking and healing, the Lord persisted in showing mercy and dispensing discipline.]
or on the six hundred thousand foot soldiers who assembled in their stubbornness.
nor on those 600,000 people on the march through the wilderness who gathered together in stubborn rebellion.
And as he killed six hundred thousand of footmen, that were gathered together in the hardness of their heart(s), that is, rebelty (or in rebellion) against God;
nor for the six hundred thousand men on foot, who rebelliously assembled in their stubbornness.
or on the six hundred thousand foot soldiers who assembled in their stubbornness.
or on the six hundred thousand foot-soldiers who assembled in their stubbornness.
So also he showed no mercy to the six hundred thousand foot soldiers who gathered together in their stubbornness.
Nor the six hundred thousand foot soldiers, sent to their graves for the arrogance of their hearts.
nor for the six hundred thousand men on foot, who rebelliously assembled in their stubbornness.
or on the six hundred thousand foot-soldiers who assembled in their stubbornness.
