His wife Anna said, “My son has perished and is no longer among the living.” And she began to weep, and to mourn over her son, saying,

Then Anna said, My son is dead. I'm sure of it. She began to weep and to mourn for Tobias,
Then his mother wept with tears without remedy [or with unremediable tears], and said, Alas to me! my son, why sent we thee to go (on) a pilgrimage, thou (who) art the light of our eyes, the staff of our eld (age), the solace of our life, and the hope of our heirs, or after-comers?
And his wife said to him, “The lad has perished; his long delay proves it.” Then she began to mourn for him, and said,

Moreover, his wife Anna was saying, “My child has perished and no longer remains among the living.” She began to cry and mourn for her son, saying,
His wife Anna said, “My son has perished and is no longer among the living!” And she began to weep aloud and to wail over her son:
And his wife said to him, “The lad has perished; his long delay proves it.” Then she began to mourn for him, and said,
