But Tobiah insisted, “No, I beg you to let me return home to my father.”
But he said, “No! I beg you to send me back to my father.”
But Tobias insisted, No, I can't! Please let me go back to my father.
To whom Tobias said, I know, that my father and my mother reckon now the days of mine absence from them [or I know, that my father and my mother now count the days], and their spirit is tormented in them.
Tobi′as replied, “No, send me back to my father.”
But he said to him, “No! I beg you to send me back to my father.”
But he said, ‘No! I beg you to send me back to my father.’
Tobias replied, “Absolutely not! I ask that you allow me to return to my father.”
But Tobiah insisted, “No, I beg you to send me back to my father.”
Tobi′as replied, “No, send me back to my father.”
But he said, ‘No! I beg you to send me back to my father.’
