For if they achieved a sufficient degree of knowledge to investigate the world, how did they fail to find its Lord more quickly?
for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they fail to find sooner the Lord of these things?
If they had enough intelligence to speculate about the nature of the universe, why did they never find the Lord of all things?
For if they might know so much, that they might guess (at) the world, how found they not lightlier (or easier) the Lord thereof?
for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they fail to find sooner the Lord of these things?
for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they not more quickly find the Lord of these things?
for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they fail to find sooner the Lord of these things?
After all, if they were indeed able to know so much that they could speculate about space and time, how is it that they weren’t able to discover the ruler of space and time more quickly?
For if they so far succeeded in knowledge that they could speculate about the world, how did they not more quickly find its Lord?
for if they had the power to know so much that they could investigate the world, how did they fail to find sooner the Lord of these things?
