Even those who did not know the king were aroused to promote his worship by the ambition of the artisan
Then the ambition of the artisan impelled even those who did not know the king to intensify their worship.
The ambitious artists who made these likenesses caused this worship to spread, even among people who did not know the king.
Forsooth the noble diligence of a craftsman brought in also them, that knew not, to the worshipping of these things, or of these kings. [Forsooth the great diligence of the craftsman drew to the praising of them and them, that unknew.]
