sed dicet non sum propheta homo agricola ego sum quoniam Adam exemplum meum ab adulescentia mea
But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an farmer; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
But he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’
But he shall say, ‘I am no prophet; I am a husbandman, for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’
but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.
And he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for man acquired me as bondman from my youth.
But he shall say: I am no prophet, I am a husbandman: for Adam is my ex- ample from my youth.
but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.
but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a worker of the soil, for a man sold me in my youth.’
He will say, 'I am not a prophet. I'm a farmer. I've owned this land since I was a child.'
He will say: I am not a prophet; I work the land, for a man purchased me as a servant since my youth.
"He will say, 'I am no mere prophet. A servant of mankind am I, because a man dedicated to this have I been from my youth.'
Instead he will say, 'I am no prophet--indeed, I am a farmer, for a man has made me his indentured servant since my youth.'
but he will say, 'I am not a prophet; I am a tiller of the ground, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.'
Each will say, 'I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.'
He will say, 'I'm no prophet; I'm a farmer. I began working for a farmer as a boy.'
But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
but he will say, 'I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.'
He will say, “I am not a prophet. I am a farmer. From the time that I was a boy, I have worked on the land.”
And [one] hath said, `I am not a prophet, A man, a tiller of ground I am, For ground [is] my possession from my youth.'
But he will say, ‘I am not a man who speaks for God. I am a farmer. A man sold me as a servant when I was young.’
And each of them will have to admit, “I am no prophet, no servant of God. I am a farmer, bound to the land. I work the soil because a man sold me into slavery when I was young.”
“‘No,’ he will say. ‘I am not a prophet; I am a farmer. The soil has been my livelihood from my earliest youth.’
Rather, he will say, “I am no prophet. I am a tiller of soil, for the land has been my possession since my youth.”
but he will say, ‘I am not a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’
but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a husbandman of the land; for I learned this from man from my youth.
He will say, ‘I am not a prophet; I work the land, for a man purchased me as a servant since my youth.’
But he will [deny his identity and] say, I am no prophet. I am a tiller of the ground, for I have been made a bond servant from my youth.
Each of them will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer and have been a farmer since I was young.’
“On the Big Day, the lying prophets will be publicly exposed and humiliated. Then they’ll wish they’d never swindled people with their ‘visions.’ No more masquerading in prophet clothes. But they’ll deny they’ve even heard of such things: ‘Me, a prophet? Not me. I’m a farmer—grew up on the farm.’ And if someone says, ‘And so where did you get that black eye?’ they’ll say, ‘I ran into a door at a friend’s house.’ * * *
Instead he will say, “I am not a prophet. I have been a tiller of the soil since my youth, when a man bought me.”
but each of them will say, “I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the soil; for the land has been my possession since my youth.”
Instead, he will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer—I have farmed the land all my life.’
but he shall say, I am not a prophet; I am a man an earth-tiller, for Adam is mine ensample from my youth. (but he shall say, I am not a prophet; I am a farmer, and mankind is my example from my youth.)
Instead, they will say, “I'm no prophet. I've been a farmer all my life.”
but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the soil; for the land has been my possession since my youth.’
but each of them will say, “I am no prophet; I am a tiller of the soil, for the land has been my possession since my youth.”
but each of them will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the soil; for the land has been my possession since my youth.’
Each will say, “I’m not a prophet. I’m a man who works the ground, for the soil has been my occupation since I was young.”
but he will [deny his identity and] say, ‘I am no prophet. I work the ground, because a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’
but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a worker of the soil, for a man sold me in my youth.’
but each will say, “I am not a prophet. I am a tiller of the soil, for I have owned land since my youth.”
but he will say, ‘I am not a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, because a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’
Each of them will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer ·and have been a farmer since I was young [L for a man sold me in my youth; C as an indentured servant to work the land].’
but will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer—I have been a bondservant from my youth.’
but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the soil; for the land has been my possession since my youth.’
In fact, each one will say, ‘I’m not really a prophet. I’m a farmer. I’ve farmed the land since I was young.’
But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
and instead, he will say, ‘I’m no prophet, I just work the soil; since my youth I’ve only wanted to be an ordinary man.’
but each of them will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the soil; for the land has been my possession since my youth.’
But he shall say, I am no navi, I am an ish oved adamah (a man who works the soil); for land I owned from my youth.
He will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I’m a farmer. I’ve owned this land since I was a child.’
But he will say, “I am not a prophet. I am a man who works the ground, for a man purchased me when I was young.”
They will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer. I have worked as a farmer since I was a little child.’
They will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer. I have been a farmer since I was young.’
but he will say, “I am not a prophet; I am a tiller of the soil, for a man has acquired me since my youth.”
Each will say, “I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.”
