And them that worship the host of heaven on the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

And those that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and those that worship and that swear by the LORD, and yet swear by Milcom;

those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens, those who bow down and swear to the LORD and yet swear by Milcom,

I will remove those who worship all the stars in the sky on their rooftops and those who worship by swearing loyalty to the LORD while also swearing loyalty to the god Milcom.

those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the heavenly host; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the LORD but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

I'll wipe out those who worship the stars that they view from their housetops, those who bow down and swear to the LORD and who also swear by Milcom,

I will remove those who worship the stars in the sky from their rooftops, those who swear allegiance to the LORD while taking oaths in the name of their 'king,'

"And those who bow down on the housetops to the host of heaven, And those who bow down and swear to the LORD and yet swear by Milcom,

those who bow down on the roofs to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear by the LORD and who also swear by Molek,

For they go up to their roofs and bow down to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the LORD, but then they worship Molech, too.

And them that worship the host of heaven upon the house-tops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by Yahweh and also swear by Malcam,

Some people stand on the roof tops to worship the sun, the moon and the stars. I will remove those people. Some people say that they love me. But they say also that they love Malcam (a false god). So I will remove them, too.’

And those bowing themselves On the roofs to the host of the heavens, And those bowing themselves, Swearing to Jehovah, and swearing by Malcham,

I will destroy those who bow down on the roofs to the stars of heaven, and those who bow down and make promises to the Lord and yet promise in the name of Milcom.

I will use My power against those who worship creation— those who bow down on their roofs before the multitude of stars in heaven— And against those who bow down and pledge allegiance to both the Eternal One and false gods such as Milcom, god of the Ammonites.

They go up on their roofs and bow to the sun, moon, and stars. They ‘follow the Lord,’ but worship Molech too! I will destroy them.

I will destroy those who worship the stars from the roofs, and those who worship and make promises by both the Lord and the god Molech,

“I’ll start with Judah and everybody who lives in Jerusalem. I’ll sweep the place clean of every trace of the sex-and-religion Baal shrines and their priests. I’ll get rid of the people who sneak up to their rooftops at night to worship the star gods and goddesses; Also those who continue to worship God but cover their bases by worshiping other king-gods as well; Not to mention those who’ve dumped God altogether, no longer giving him a thought or offering a prayer. * * *

I will also cut off those who worship on their rooftops, bowing down to the armies in the heavens, and those who worship by swearing to the Lord, and yet they also swear by Milcom.

I will destroy those who ·worship [bow down to] the ·stars [starry host; host of heaven] from the roofs [C roofs were flat and used for living space], and those who ·worship [bow down] and ·make promises [swear oaths] by both the Lord and the god ·Molech [or Malkam; or the king],

those bowing down on the roofs to the host of the heavens. those bowing down, swearing to Adonai and also swearing by Molech

those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens; those who bow down and swear to the Lord and yet swear by Milcom;

I will destroy those who bow down on their roofs to worship all the stars. I will destroy those who make promises not only in my name but also in the name of Molek.

those worshipping heaven’s army on the roofs, also those who worship and swear by Adonai but swear by Malkam as well,

those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens; those who bow down and swear to the Lord, but also swear by Milcom;

And those that worship the Tz’va HaShomayim (Army of Heaven, star g-ds) upon the rooftops; and those that worship and that swear [oaths] by Hashem, but also swear by Milcom (i.e., Their King [Baal]);

I will remove those who worship all the stars in the sky on their rooftops and those who worship by swearing loyalty to Yahweh while also swearing loyalty to the god Milcom.

And those who go up on their roofs to worship the stars will be forgotten. They worship me, the Lord, but they also use the name of the false god Milcom to make promises.

I will destroy those who worship the stars from the roofs. I will destroy those who worship and make promises by both the Lord and the god Molech.
